Hostel Facilities:
The
Balodaya school runs a well furnished soundly
managed hostel for both boys and girls. The entire
hotel system is supervised and monitored by a
hostel supervisor/warden who assist and guide
the hostel children as their parents do. The students
are cared and groomed in a very homely but in
a disciplined environment for the competitive
age. The following things are to be noted by every
one who is concerned.
1 The first and foremost duty of the boarders
is to maintain strict discipline and decorum of
the hostel. They must be civilized, behave generously,
love the youngers, respect the elders and teachers
and try to create a conducive environment for
everyone’s academic excellence.
2 Any child who has attained the age of seven
(7yrs) can be enrolled as a boarder but he/she
should not be suffering from any Chronic diseases.
3 The newly admitted boarder must be supplied
with all the requirements given in the requirement
list for the boarders.
4 Boarders are not allowed to keep expensive,
valuable articles and money with them. Strict
checking is made at the entry point and unwanted
articles and things such as fast food, chocolates,
soft drinks etc. are returned.
5 Sudden inspection of the hostel dormitories
and trunks are done and the inappropriate goods
are seized. Reading comics, novels and all sorts
of extra books that are not borrowed from library
is strictly prohibited.
6 Boarders are not allowed to take out pass without
prior consent of the parents and permission of
the hostel authority.
7 The boarding students must always follow the
direction of their hostel supervisor/warden and
run their activities in accordance with the set
time table which may be subjected to change if
needed.
8 Boarders will be permitted to visit their homes
only on last Friday of the month and during long
vacation – reporting on given date and time
is expected from every one returning back to hostel.
9 Students found guilty of breaking the hostel
rules and regulation will be punished according
and may be sent back if needed.
10 Generally the boarders are not allowed to be
day-scholar. Students with due reasons can apply
for the same in written form to the Principal
one month earlier to the start of the term.
Facilities for Boarders:
1 The hostel students are served nutritious and
food with full calorific value a prepared by trained
Chefs in a hygienic way.
2 Tutorial and special coaching classes by trained
teachers are conducted everyday in the morning
and in the evening shifts respectively.
3 Needy students are provided medical assistance
of primary nature. In a case of student suffering
fro any chronic diseases/communicable diseases,
the parents/local guardians will be informed any
they will be responsible for the same.
4 Boarders can utilize the library for reference
and fun reading.
5 The students can have telephone conversation
(receiving the incoming phone and call to local
guardians/parents through local numbers) only
during the sports time with the permission of
the hostel warden.
6 General guidance and counseling.
7 Timely outing and visits.
8 Sports and extra activities – taking part
in C. C. A. is a must for all the boarders.
