Admission policy:
Balodaya English Boarding School accepts boys and girls, day scholar/boarders. New admissions are granted on the clear understanding that parents agree with the school’s aims/ objectives rules & regulations and promises to support whole-heartedly its programmes & methods to meet the goal. The school reserves the right to admit/refuse admission, suspend and expel students in case of default.
· Students from other school will be admitted after passing the entrance test but they must submit all the necessary documents before admission.i.e.
-Transfer Certificate
-Character Certificate
-Mark sheet/Pass Certificate

· The school authority will invite/distribute applications for fresh admission with specific deadline.
· Candidates failing to apply before the deadline will not be accepted for entrance and won’t be eligible for admission.

Withdrawal of Students:
Students can be withdrawn only after the final examination, in case of:
· Transfer of parents
· If not satisfied by the schools’ academic and other performances.
· Note: All outstanding dues have to be cleared otherwise transfer certificate will not be issued.

School Session and school timings:
The academic session normally begins from the first quarter of Baishakh and ends by the month of Chaitra every year.

Timings:
All the classes run from 10:00 AM to 3:40 PM with a 25 minutes lunch/tea break at noon.
· The entry to school will be allowed after 9:25 AM before the first bell at 9:50 AM.
· Students coming after 10:00 will not be allowed to enter their classes.
· Working hours from Sunday to Friday –10:00 AM to 3:40 PM.
· Saturday remains a full holiday.

Fee Norms:
· All the fees and outstanding dues must be paid before the 10th of every Nepali month. If not paid in time mentioned, late fee of Rs. 1/- (NC) per day will be charged.
· If the fee/dues of any student remains unpaid for 3 months his/her name will be struck off from the attendance register.
· Only the students above class V are entitled to bring their fees.

Uniform Norms:
For boys: White shirt /Navy Blue paint, Black shoes/blue shocks, Navy blue blazer/sweater.
For Girls: white shirt/ Navy blue skirts, black buckle shoes/blue shocks, Navy blue Blazer/ Sweater, white ribbons (two)
· Fashionable haircut and indecent dresses are not allowed and treated accordingly.
· The only prescribed colors (two) will be applied for all days.

Examination:
To assess and get clear picture of child’s progress and development monthly test system and three terminal examinations (as first, second and final) are conducted. The records of which is sent to the parents through progress report. Sudden & surprise tests are also applied as a tool to keep students ready every time to face odd situations. Students obtaining at least 40% aggregate are only declared pass and promoted to next class.
